I have been told that Ghost Flames go as far back as the late 1940s. That makes sense to me because they were very big in the 1950s and 60s. My driving years started in the 70s.  I recall seeing a few 70s vintage cars and trucks with Ghost Flames but I mainly saw them on the classics of the time.

Back then you could count on seeing 1940s and 50s vehicles with “Candy” paint jobs, Side-Pipes and Ghost Flames.

Now days we have many more options for customizing our vehicles but one thing still stands true: Ghost flames “Rock”!

Well, have you priced translucent paint lately? The paint alone can cost over $100.00. You then have to find a quality auto painter who is creative and skilled enough to tape off the flame or other graphic. Hundreds of dollars!
