PurpleJalopy.com is the result of our desire to spiff up our own show vehicles, along with those we sponsored. Using the resources of our then parent company Comprehensive Business Solutions, we found that we enjoyed the challenge of improving traditional graphic concepts, as well as, creating new and unique concepts.

Comprehensive Business Solutions was dedicated to providing Virginia businesses with quality web design, hosting, custom graphic design, printing, signage, and fleet graphics. In the midst of our workdays PurpleJalopy.com provided us the opportunity to let the creative juices flow and have a great time while doing it! As a bonus, we received great pleasure from the feedback we receive from our many satisfied customers.

As a result of our enjoyment and the enthusiasm of our customers, we closed Comprehensive to focus on PurpleJalopy.com. Already having 8 years experience in the automotive aftermarket industry through previous employment, we decided that we would give it a shot. We could not have known how exciting the trip would be.

Owners' Mark and Jody Painter spent 2 years working car dealerships and attending car shows. It was quickly discovered that custom design and installation was what would set PurpleJalopy.com apart from the competition. After customizing a few hundred cars it was time to take the show on the road to gain national exposure. Starting in April 2006 a 1 year, 27 state tour began and as planed helped PurpleJalopy become one of the most popular graphics companies in the United States and Canada.

With the Tour under our belts it is time to settle down and cultivate our wholesale business as we continue to delve even farther into the retail vehicle customizing industry. The location we have chosen for our new national Headquarters is Jacksonville, Florida.

With the introduction of Digital Print PurpleJalopy.com is rapidly bursting at the seems. We see the need to expand our operation and will begin training installers this year.
