Construction Details
Base Section
 1 The Lower Extention Sleeve is strapped and welded prior to attaching the Hold-Back Rod Retaining Bolt. This is done to eliminate weakening of the Lower Extention Sleeve.
2 The Hold-Back Rod retaining bolt is welded to the strap.
3 A wingnut and washer is used to secure the Holdback Rod to the entention tube.
4 All rod pivots are fully enclosed with heavy duty straps. The straps are then welded closed to ensure a very snug fit and to eliminate the possibility of failure. The rod will not release from the strap.
5 Angled Positioning Rod mounts are welded to the Bottom Plate. This angled mounting surface allows the user to slide the rod ends into place without tightening the nuts.
6 The Holdback Rod's closed "V" configuration assists in stabilizing left to right sway. This rod also locks the Positioning Rod (#7) into place once setup.
7 Positioning Rod establishes the angle of the unit and connects to the Base in 2 locations to assist in the overall stability of stand.
8 It is recommended that the Positioning Rod Nuts be tightened if the stand is to be used for electronics, any item weighing over 3 LBS or for long term use.
9 This Base Plate is made of 3/16 inch steel. The 6 holes add strength and reduce the possibility that the plate will warp.
Note: There are 29 welds in this lower section alone.
Upper Section
 1 Top Plate is stamped 3/16 inch steel. Because it is thick it does not have sharp edges and is heavy duty enough to allow for virtually any addition. The 6 openings reduce weight and add strength
2 Simply a lip to assist in holding books or other materials when configured as a stand. If your particular need does not include the need for this lip it can be omitted during construction for an additional fee of $10.00.
3 These brackets are intended to hold a placard of any thickness but can be used to hold items such as small speakers.
4 11/16" Extention Tube travels inside of the 3/4" Extention Sleeve.

6 2 wingnuts are used to adjust the angle of the Upper Deck
7 Pivoting Placard Mounting Bracket
8 Snap Buttons are used to hold sections in desired position.
NOTE: Not intended to hold objects exceeding 10 LBS. It is strongly recomended that all items to be desplayed on the Quad Stand are adiquatly attached to ensure the saftey of any spectators, children, yourself and the item.
