There are several reasons for registering.
1) Registered users receive an automatic 10% discount at check out.
2) Saying yes to the Newsletter will automatically register you into the PurpleJalopy.com Club. You will receive our Newsletter and be eligible for special promotions and discounts as well as advanced notice on many new product offerings. (to opt-out simply say no to the Newsletter. You will not be placed on our internet mailing list)
3) Registering eliminates having to fill out all of that info if you come back to make another purchase.
3) All transactions made in our catalog are Credit Card transactions. For your protection and ours this information needs to be provided.
Note: The only difference between registering and not registering to our shopping cart is the Username and Password. All of the rest of the information you must provide would be provided anyway. Most of the info is relative to shipping. Other info like your birth date is to verify that you are over 18. Your birth date is also a piece of information that a thief would not be able to get from your stolen credit card number. It is like a signature that only you and those closest to you know.
